New Year: Goodbye 2014 Hello 2015!!!!
2014 has definitely been an unpredictable, unforgiving, fun, tiresome and exciting year.
If you listened to the lyrics of both songs, you would understand why. Let me explain. Life lessons in 2014 has taught me so much.
I’m a young mom enjoying the fact that I can really experience and enjoy life with my children. I can run, play, dance, skip and jump rope with them. When I really slow down and live in the moments that we share, I get the blessing of seeing life through their eyes.
When we’re walking side by side and their little hands reach out to grasp mine, nothing in the world makes me melt more. It’s a sweet reminder of this wonderful journey of motherhood that I have been called upon.
Side note: Now don’t get me wrong, there are days when these little angels turn into little devils and make me wonder what the hell I was thinking. Those moments never last long and they are far and few in between.
My youngest daughter always tell me “Mommy, I don’t want to ever grow up. I want to be little forever.”
I don’t want her too either. As a matter of fact, I wish I could freeze the hands of time because I don’t want to age another day myself. However, in the grand scheme of it all, we are all here on borrowed time.
What does that mean for me?
Anyone who knows me knows that I’m a road runner with a free spirit. I birthed two daughters who take after their mommy, which is unfortunate for the hubs. I think he thought two kids would slow me down a bit…NOT. LOL. There is too much to see, experience and learn.
One of my personal travel goals is to visit “at least” one new country and four new states a year. I work hard so that I can play extra hard!!
In 2015, I’m unapologetically living life. I have no clue what the future holds, but I know it will be one hell of a ride and I’m so ready!!! I’ll keep my seat belt buckled to prevent the risk of major injuries during those bumpy rides and a bottle of chilled wine ready in the back seat to pop for those amazing celebratory moments. I’m expecting quite a few of those.
My motto going into the New Year: “I can show you better than I can tell you!”
The kids are all finally in school, so I have the time. I have been putting off a lot of personal endeavors. No more excuses. It’s my time to shine!
I was going to make this really fancy slide show with music but decided on the latter. Too much to do today, so check out my collages from 2014!!
Birthdays, graduations, vacations, road trips, camping, children’s concerts and plays. We have done it all. The memories with my family and friends are priceless and what I cherish the most. I love life!! Can’t wait to see what the New Year will bring. If I have any say so, you better believe that I will be leaving plenty of foot prints on the sands of time.
See ya in 2015!!!!!!!
From the Price Family to yours 🙂
