Walt Disney Family Vacation and Atlantis
This post is loooooong over due. Don’t judge me. A lot has happened and is still happening. On top of that, many of the pictures I took on this vacation was on my old phone, which crashed & had to be sent back to the manufacturer for repair. Unfortunately, I lost all of my pictures and videos. Talk about depressing.
*Lets have a moment of silence for those lost pictures*
So many great pictures were lost. It is often hard for me to get good pictures while vacationing because I’m typically caught up in the fun of it all, living in the moment instead of trying to capture the perfect moment. This vacation I promised that I would do better for the sake of my blog. Thankfully, the hubs was taking pictures too (though not as good as mine), they will have to do.
Say what now?
Last summer, I lost my mind. For a few months we were debating about finally taking the kids to Disney for the first time. There was also this really great sale going on with Atlantis in the Bahamas. Even though we have traveled there over 4 times, it was always on a cruise ship. We always said that we wanted to fly there and stay, so this sale was the perfect opportunity. I couldn’t decide on which vacation to take so we decided to do both. Our itinerary was as follows:
- Fly to Orlando to stay at Disney for 3 days. While at Disney, we stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort. Beautiful resort and awesome amenities. Their shuttle service throughout the parks and surrounding areas was really convenient.
- From Orlando, we hopped back on the plane and flew to the Bahamas to stay at the Atlantis for another 3 days. Awesome time!!
- From the Bahamas we flew back home and rested on the 7th day like Jesus.
Crazy right? I’m not sure how we did it all — all the flying, luggage, the kids, the toys that kids wanted to bring from home on the trip. However, I would love to give a special shout to Delta Air Lines. All of our flights were on time. No luggage was lost. We had great flight attendants throughout our flights.
I’m going to leave you lovelies with a few pictures from our multi-destination vacation.
